Aftercare

Derm Instructions: Leave the bandage on for no longer than 3 days.

If the bandage starts to feel hot and irritated, or leak, take it off as soon as possible.

When you are ready to take off the derm, please do so under running water (in the shower is the best way),

begin to peel the edge of the bandage and once it starts coming off gently pull the edge towards yourself rather than ripping away. 

Proceed to wash your tattoo with Dial Gold, or your favorite non-scented antibacterial soap.

Once you have washed your tattoo, you can pat dry with a clean paper towel, and continue to let it dry completely.

If your tattoo is still peeling and flaking, you can use a small amount of Aquaphor to moisturize, otherwise you can switch to your favorite non-scented lotion

For Non-Derm Users: Once you get home take off the cling wrap and thoroughly wash your tattoo in lukewarm later,

with Dial Gold or your favorite non-scented antibacterial soap, ensuring to wash the excess ointment and plasma from your tattoo.

After washing your tattoo, you can pat dry with a clean paper towel and allow to let dry completely.

When your tattoo is dry you can use a small amount of Aquaphor to keep your tattoo moisturized,

as soon as your tattoo is almost done peeling you can switch to your favorite non-scented lotion.
